She was loved and cherished by many people including: her son James Marcus Gibbons (Joyce) of Cove; her grandchildren, Leon Gibbons, Michele Roberts, Carl Wayne Gibbons and Rusty Gibbons; her close friend Kerry Tomlin; her husband Fairol Gibbons; her son Marvin Gibbons; her granddaughter Laura Gibbons; and her brother Steve. She was also cherished by Eleven great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
