He is survived by: his mother Ina Mae Prince Dawson of Rowlett, Texas; his wife Darlene Dawson of Mena, Arkansas; his children, David Dwight (Waynette Dawson), Daniel Eugene (Brandy Dawson), Darrell Roland (Nova Dawson) and Diana Marie Dawson of Mena, Arkansas; his siblings, Doug Dawson of Mesquite, Texas, Dawna (Mike Herring) and Denise (Greg Davis); and his grandchildren, Deanna Dawson, Dayna Dawson, Demi Dawson, Deven Dawson, Dean Dawson, Dwight Dawson, Daylee Dawson, Hannah Dawson, Daniel Dawson, Benjamin Dawson, Rebekah Dawson, Elizabeth Dawson and Matthew Dawson. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
