He was predeceased by: his wife Donna Lee Stanford Lance; his sister Wilma Parker; his former wife Erma Faye Tedder Lance; his stepchildren, Bobby Ray Tedder, Jeff Tedder and Sherry Tedder; and his close friend Louise Key.
He is survived by: his children, Jeannine Higgs (Jacob) of Diboll Texas and Tony Lance (Michelle) of Cabot Arkansas; his stepson Joe Tedder (Gail) of Houston Texas; his grandchildren, Andrew Elder (Sarah) of Frierson Louisiana, Emily Elder, Chloe Segalla (David) of Bentonville Arkansas, Michael Libby (Sara) and Matt Libby of Prattsville Arkansas; his great grandchildren, Zack Elder, Willa Jean Elder and Hannah Claire Segalla; his siblings, Charles Wayne Lance, Thelma Parker and Wanda Foster; his aunt Jean; his brother Mercantile; and his friend Doy Grubbs. He is also survived by nine step-grand children.
