He is survived by: his children, Richard Stricklin of Richmond, Virginia, Charlene (Randy O'Neal), Lisa (Marvin Brewer) and Tressa Mercado of Charleston, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Rikki Stricklin, Brandon O'Neal, Amber (Jacob Goodner), Holly (Wesley Cummins), Amisha (Tim Mosley) and Senia (Dakota Rapp); and his great grandchildren, Ivy Jo Cummins and Eleanor Wren Mosley. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
