He is survived by: his spouse Connie Brown of Mena; his sons, James Allen Ellis of Mena, Arkansas Michael Thomas Ellis of Fayetteville and Arkansas Charles Vincent Brown of Mena; his grandchildren, Bailey Ellis of Conway, Arkansas Joshua Bates of Jonesboro, Arkansas Chelsi Schoeppey of Mena, Arkansas Madison Ellis of Mena, Arkansas Evelyn Ellis of Mena and Arkansas Bianca Ellis; his great grandchildren, Maybree Bates of Mena, Arkansas Easton and Juliet Schoeppey of Mena; and his close friends, Carrol Pettigrew, Monty Harris, Guy McDill and Ronnie Wagner. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
