He is survived by: his wife Wanda Dowdy; his children, Ricky Dowdy (Susan), Michael Dowdy and Sherry Dowdy; his grandchildren, Chris (Sarah), Jonathan, Justin, Robert, Dylan, Cody and Lexi; and his great grandchildren, Sophie, Samantha, Jayden, Aya, Astera, Callie, Aiden and Alex.
