He was predeceased by: his father Harrison Lewis; his brothers, Harold and Irvin Boyd; his grandsons, Ross Boyd and Phillip Hay; and his great grandchild Madison Boyd.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Boyd; his children, Andy (Cheryl Boyd), Curt (Susan Boyd), Dean (Cindy Boyd) and Gayle (Ronnie Hay); his grandchildren, Kyle, Jessica Daniels, Jonathan, Lisa Daniels, Carrie, Tony Pennington, Ryan, Jacqueline Boyd, Jason Boyd, Anthony, Wendy Padgett, Kaylan Hay, Alicia Brewer, Ramie Hay, Quincy Cotton, Randy, Elisa Boyd, Reece Boyd, Russell Boyd and Brittney Meador; and his brother Harley Boyd. He is also survived by 26 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Acorn Baptist church in support of the children's missions.
