He is survived by: his wife Janise Ross; his children, Dennis Ross (Lanora), William Mitchell (Kim), Elizabeth Newman and Janene Mitchell; and his grandchildren, Joe Harvey Ross, Florence Lynn Phillips, Elyssa Stinnett, Ledger Newman, Aaron Mitchell and Jade Mitchell. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
