It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Vera Vickery of Melbourne, Arkansas, born in Sage, Arkansas, who passed away on November 2, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Shaver and Mellie Shaver (Moser); her husband Ishmael Vickery; and her siblings, Leroy Shaver, Gaye Williams and Clyda Brooks.
She is survived by: her children, Greg Vickery (Fern) of Sage, Alan Vickery (Phyllis) of Sage and Susan Crouch (Tim) of Wiseman; her sisters, Ann Johnson of Mount Pleasant and Betty Cook of Cushman; her grandchildren, Amy Jines, Laura Lawrence, Paige Vickery, Andrew Vickery, Samantha Wilkes, Leslie Watso and Megan Crouch; and her great grandchildren, Landon Jines, Cory Jines, Abbie Mae Lawrence, Ty Lawrence, Callie Lawrence, Asher Vickery, Elijah Wilkes and Lilly Ward. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Reeves-Pine Grove Cemetery.
