He was predeceased by: his parents, John William Carl "Mutt" Phipps and Cassie Haney Phipps; his brother Gayle Phipps; and his sister-in-law Bonnie Phipps. He is survived by: his wife Shellia Phipps; his daughters, Tonya Crawford of Melbourne and Misty Baker (Jason) of Mountain Home; his stepdaughters, Stacey Wheeler (Brock) of Melbourne and Ashley Lapeer (Steven) of Melbourne; his siblings, Tom Phipps (Kathrean) of Larkin, Dean Phipps of Larkin, Jim Phipps (Melda) of Newburg, Carl Phipps (Sheila) of Jonesboro, Janie Tate (Raybourne), Jerry Phipps (Kathy) of Hickory Ridge and Gay Carpenter (Harold) of Violet Hill; his grandchildren, Dallas Lee, Harper Wheeler, Lillian Rae Norris, Hannah Kay Crawford, Falyn Kay Wheeler and Jaxtyn Baker; and his sister-in-law Carolyn Phipps of Brockwell. He is also survived by other relative and many good friends.
