It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lowell Gene Wheelis (Melbourne, Arkansas), born in Guion, Arkansas, who passed away on July 11, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ewin Wheelis and Rosie Melvina Arnold Wheelis; his sister Bonnie Hutchinson; and his wife Janice Wheelis. He is survived by: his sons, Joel Wheelis (Traci) of Little Rock and Brad Wheelis (Tina) of Melbourne; his brother Bob Wheelis (Mary) of Jonesboro; and his grandchildren, Haley Wheelis, Lillian Wheelis, Reagan Wheelis and Thomas Wheelis. He is also survived by other relatives and many good friends.
