He was predeceased by: his parents, Rayburn Otis Stroud and Oveta J. Hall Stroud; his brothers, Larry Stroud, Keith Stroud and Kenneth "Buck" Stroud; and his grandson Jason Stroud.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Stroud; his children, Rusty Stroud (Tammy) of Jonesboro and Laney Stroud of Ozark, Missouri; his stepchildren, Mark Walker (Kalley) of Marmaduke, Jimmy Walker (Judy) of LaCrosse, Eldenia Heath of Melbourne and Della Walker of Cherokee Village; and his sister-in-law Jo Stroud of Batesville. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren.
