He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldous William Tate and Clara Della Twilley Tate; his wife Gaye Moser Tate; his daughter Kimberly Sue Tate; and his siblings, Bill Tate, Sarah Morehead and June Hamilton.
He is survived by: his sons, Donnie Tate (Karen) of Melbourne and Kevin Tate (Sheila) of Evening Shade; his close friend Vonita Smith of Batesville; his brothers, Raybourne Tate (Janie) of Melbourne, Delmo Tate (Leveda) of Melbourne, Mickey Tate of Melbourne and Greg Tate (Reba) of Melbourne; his grandchildren, Braden Tate (Tara Jo) of Melbourne, Corey Tate of Little Rock, Alton Roberson of Melbourne, Heather Budreviciene (Simas) of Vilnius and Jasmine Hartgraves (Robert) of Melbourne; and his great grandchildren, Jasper Tate, Kyler Tate, Zemyna Budreviciute, Mateja Budreviciute, Greyson Hartgraves, Hudson Hartgraves, Kiersten Hartgraves, Sarah Hartgraves, Abigail Cohoon and Wayne Cohoon. He is also survived by other relatives and many good friends.
