He was predeceased by: his parents, Tedie Thomas Owens and Carrie Elizabeth Dockins Owens; and his siblings, Leamon Owens, Junior Owens, James Owens, Faye Sherrill, Lora Belle Barnes, Gracie Jones, Muna Hollman, Molly and Polly Owens.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Majors Owens; his children, Mark Owens (Lori) of Batesville, Arkansas, Cheryl Bell (Danny) of Vilonia and Carol Sellars (Marty) of Ash Flat, Arkansas; his sisters, Pauline Morehead (Mervela) of Yakima, Betty Owens of Franklin and Sally Gould (Bill) of Mountain View, Missouri; his grandchildren, Derek Moser (Amanda), Kelby Moser (Tara), Levi Moser, Trevor Sellars (Sayre), Chloe Sellars Pigott (Cody) and Hanna Owens; his great grandchildren, Mabrey, Rhodes, Rawley Moser, Kellen Moser and Dailen Sellars; and his siblings-in-law, Bethel Owens of Oxford, Katherine Owens of Pineville, Arkansas, Ellis Jones of Mountain Home and Paul Majors (Pansy) of Willow Springs, Missouri. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and many good friends.
