He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Rush and Nancy Jones Rush; his son Brad Joel Rush; and his siblings, Otho Rush of Louis Rush, V. T, Babe Rush, Burt Rush, Viernie Stacy and Adean Enwright.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Rush; his sons, Scotty Rush (Sherry), Steven Rush (Kim) of Melbourne and Chad Rush (Jessica) of Mount Pleasant; his brother W. D. Rush (Jo Ella) of Wenatchee, Washington; his grandchildren, Brittany Pack (Lane) of Denver, Layna Carter (Skye) of Melbourne, Jared Taylor of Colorado Springs, Maicie Rush of Melbourne, Nicholas Rush (Kyla) of Melbourne and Dakota (Melissa) of Salt Lake; and his great grandchildren, Caroline Carter, Addison Rush and Camilla Carter. He is also survived by other relatives and many good friends.
