He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Gunter and Martha Jean Gunter (Byrd). He is survived by: his wife Jacky Gunter of McNeil; his sons, Ronnie Gunter (Christy) of Lillie, LA, Donnie Gunter (Nancy Newman) of Magnolia and Michael "Mikey" Gunter, Jr. of McNeil; his stepson Jerry Thompson (Gloria) of Many, LA; his siblings, Gary Gunter (Patsy) of McNeil and Kay Sharp (Sam) of McNeil; his grandchildren, Brandon Gunter, Donnie Gunter (Aubrey) of Magnolia, Zachary Gunter (Kadee) of El Dorado, Morgan Gunter of Clarksville, Taylor Gray (David) of Carthage, TX, Kaley Newlin (Galin) of Bismarck and Jamie Brewster (Grant) of Gurdon; his great grandchildren, Elliott Newlin of Bismarck, Isabella Beeman of Clarksville, Mitchell Brewster and Madison Brewster of Gurdon; and his cousins, Wiley Duke (Judy) of Prescott and Fran Givens (Bill) of McNeil. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
