He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice McBride and Jim McBride; his friend Jessie Mae Burnell; his sons, Don McBride and William Earl McBride; his siblings, Billy James McBride, Bobbie McBride, Unice Alexander and Renell Beck; and his stepchildren, Jessie L., Charles, Oscar, Pete, Patrica A., Dorothy, Bessie A., Peauline and Pearline Burnell.
He is survived by: his spouse Flodie McBride; his children, Ida Curry (Rick), Ruby Leaks (Lee Otis), Beatrice Curry (Jimmy), Carrie Pace (Roy) and Jimmy McBride (Linda-Deceased); his stepchildren, Darryl Burnell, Paul Burnell, Verdia Burnell, Peggy A. Christopher (Otis), Hughey P. Burnell and Peggy Watson (Anthony); his siblings, Alice McBride and Willie Jr. McBride; his grandson Corey Flowers; his nieces, Nikita Evans, Debra Fears, Kathy Sears, Gloria Gill and Markesha Watson; and his nephew Bryant Johnson. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, July 17th, from 1:00 – 3:00 p. m. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, anyone attending the graveside services, "MUST WEAR A MASK.".
