He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Johnson and Ola Hamilton Johnson; his former wife Nora Johnson; his brother Vernon Johnson; and his son-in-law Willie Bramlett.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Cooper Johnson of McGehee, AR; his children, James Johnson (Renee) of Clinton, AR, Linda Ward (Jerry) of Collins, AR, Brenda Bramlett of Kilmichael, MS and Sandra Murphree (Alfred) of Tillar, AR; his stepchildren, Jimmy Cooper (Lisa) of McGehee, AR, Stephen Cooper (Cheryl) of McGehee, AR, Sherry Ray (Milton) of Bryant, AR, Christie Cooper of Midwest, OK and Becky Dunn (Mark) of McGehee, AR; and his brother Robert Johnson (Linda) of Pine Bluff, AR. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
