He is survived by: his parent Willie Lee Mitchell; his wife Bobbie Ann Newhouse Mitchell; his children, Chris Mitchell and Raquasha Mitchell; his stepchildren, Jeante Burnette Mitchell and Kelvin Thomas; and his siblings, John Walters Jr., Roosevelt Green, Donald Burnes, Mary Nadine Kirkland, Janelle Barnes Turner, Denise Barnes McGuire and Carolyn Freeman Benton. He is also survived by uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.
