It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ray Alton McCallie (McGehee, Arkansas), who passed away on August 23, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Willis McCallie and Ruby Carter McCallie; and his siblings, Roy McCallie, Louis McCallie and Patsy McCallie.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Vick McCallie; his children, James McCallie (Carrie) of Monticello, AR and Karen Robertson (Joe) of Tillar, AR; his siblings, Dale McCallie (Lana) of Irving, TX, Don McCallie (Peggy) of Dittmer, MO and Judy Appleberry (Frank) of Tillar, AR; his sisters-in-law, Pat McCallie of McGehee, AR and Becky McCallie of Monticello, AR; and his grandchildren, Shannon Mosier (Travis), Josh Robertson, Tyler Robertson, Jonathan Halley, Brittany Halley and Christopher Halley. He is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren.
