With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Johnnie Elliott Crawford of McGehee, Arkansas, born in Helena, Arkansas, who passed away on July 17, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wesley Crawford and Lavetta Runyan (Crawford); his stepmother Edna Crawford of Arkansas City; and his siblings, Robert Earl Crawford, Dorthea Hancock, Marjorie Weller, Juanita Ishmael and June Burchfield.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Crawford (Angela) of McGehee and Kelly Cessor (Travis) of Halley; his grandchildren, Ethan, Lora, Keldan, Cheryl, Ryland, Zaidyn and Kynzlie; and his sisters, Frankie Kerber of Ennis and Lynda Hopper of Springdale.
Instead of flowers, it is asked that donations be made to any organization that benefits youth and children or people in need. In the McGehee area, please make memorial donations to the Salvation Army or the Boys and Girls Club of McGehee.
