He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend James Olive and Lura Everett Young; his son Jared Wilson Young; and his brother-in-law Max Epperson. He is survived by: his wife Johnnie Rose Young; his daughter Jennifer Stevens (Scott); his grandson Jake Stevens; and his sister-in-law Mary Epperson.
