He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Cingolani and Kate Durham Cingolani; his siblings, Charles Floyd Cingolani and Virginia Fowler; and his former wife Angharad Henry Cingolani.

He is survived by: his wife Donna Daniels Cingolani; his children, James Paul Cingolani (Susan), Nicholas Adam Cingolani and Tori Cingolani Pless (Bo); and his sister Mary Cingolani Mabray. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
