She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Jefferson Stough and Josephine Estell Hux; her husband Paul Capps; her daughters, Jamie Russell and Rose Montgomery; her siblings, Mary Adams, Kay Cunningham and Raymond Stough; and her granddaughters, Dana Carver and Kassie Ann Birchfield.
She is survived by: her son Johnny Carver; and her siblings, Johnnie Carter, Polly Scritchfield and Samual Stough. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; eleven great- grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
