He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Jack" Carlis Stone and Ruthie Mae Stone; his brother Lee Junior Stone; and his son-in-law Joseph "Joey" Guttirrez. He is survived by: his wife Nora Green Stone; and his sister Bertie M. Stone McClurg (Arnold). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the McGehee Cemetery Pavilion.
