She was predeceased by: her parents, T. R. Moreland and Fannie Chambers Moreland; her husband Sonny Thompson; and her sister Glenda Ward. She is survived by: her siblings, Sue Hill, Pete Moreland, Anuel Moreland, O'Neal Moreland, Carl Moreland, Wayne Moreland and Marlie Moreland; her sons, Bobby Thompson (Vicki) of Watauga and Robby L. Thompson (Dorothy) of Springtown; and her sisters, Brenda Morgan (Charlie) of McGehee and Debbie Robinson (Greg) of White Hall. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society in memory of Betty.
