He is survived by: his wife Carol Yates; his children, Stacy Yates (Christie) of Heber Springs, Mark Yates of McCrory and Jennifer Yates (Stan Stanley) of Augusta; his siblings, Johnny Wayne Yates (Deborah) of Vanndale, Beatrice McCorkle of Cherry Valley, Katherine Bolden (Robert) of Harrisburg, Roxie McCorkle of Wynne and Nellie Edwards (Jimmy) of Cherry Valley; his grandchildren, Monica Shields (Sonny) of Alaska, Casey Miller of Heber Springs, Wade Yates of McCrory, Megan Yates of Little Rock, Dillon Miles of Hoxie and Zoie Preller of Augusta; and his great grandchildren, Brick Shields of Alaska and Brinley Miles of Augusta. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
