He was predeceased by: his wife Brenda McDonald Montgomery. He is survived by: his daughter Donna Vanne Montgomery of Winston-Salem; and his sister Anne Montgomery Swetland of Ipswich. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Dr. Montgomery has requested that no flowers be sent, and that any gifts which friends may desire to make, be made to their church or to a charity of choice, but only as a charitable give, not as a memorial to him.
