It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Lee Yates of McCrory, Arkansas, born in Bradford, Arkansas, who passed away on April 15, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Yates and Fannie Yates; his son Danny Yates; and his siblings, Dorothy Poole and Franklin Yates.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Yates; his daughters, Karen Kennedy (John) of Batesville and Sharen DeWitt (Todd) of Searcy; and his grandchildren, Darren Walls, Aliyah Halfacre, Ashlyn Curlette, Hailee Walls, Tyla DeWitt and Brylee DeWitt. He is also survived by extended family and countless friends.
