He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Edmond Thomas and Ola Dollie McAfee; and his brothers, Carl Embry, Bryan Thomas McAfee, Harold Thomas McAfee and Jewel Porter McAfee.
He is survived by: his wife Kay Roberts McAfee; and his daughters, Lee Elizabeth McAfee Scogin (Michael) of Dallas and Rachael Copeland McAfee Butt (Samuel) of Thousand Oaks. He is also survived by one granddaughter, and dozens of nieces and nephews.
