He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee and Hazel Hefner (Trotter); and his siblings, Donnie, Gary, Stanley and Patricia Nelson.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Esther Songer; his sons, Steven (Kelli) of Corinth, MS and Greg (Rhonda) of Tuttle, OK; and his grandchildren, Megan Dunson (BJ) of Victoria, MS, Jason Hefner (Alyssa) of Nashville, IN, Charity Welch (Ty) of Yukon, OK, Jessica Hefner of Cordova, TN and Emily Hefner of Yukon, OK. He is also survived by three great grandchildren; and a host of friends and family.
