He was predeceased by: his parents, E. R. Foster and Mildred "Sis" Foster; his sister Fae Nolen; and his cousin Ellis Reeves. He is survived by: his wife Betty Long Foster; his children, Tommy, Russ Foster, Dale Jones and Kim Covert; his brother-in-law Roland Nolan; and his cousin Jane Reeves. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
