She is survived by: her brother Van Bateman (Butch); her children, Leslie Wells Casey of Higden and Mary Alison Johnson (Eric) of Cabot; her grandchildren, Ashley Henderson, Jacqueline Jacobson of Cabot, Ben Casey of Naylor and Clayton Johnson; her stepdaughter Lara Hadden Hill (Chris); her grandchildren, Giles Haden and Josephine Hill of Raleigh; her close friend Doug Ladner; and her pet Coco.
