She was predeceased by: her parents, William Walter and Mollie Doak (Miller); her brother William "Bill" Doak (Louis); and her son Kenyon Doak Brindley. She is survived by: her husband Joe P. Brindley; her daughter-in-law Melanie Kay Sikes Brindley; and her grandchildren, Blake Kenyon Brindley and Madeline Kay Baker (Mark Baker) of Conway, Arkansas..
Joann's wish was that memorial donations be made in her honor to the Ken Brindley Memorial Foundation, a 503 (c) nonprofit foundation, to help provide water safety education, resources and swim lesson vouchers in Conway and Central Arkansas.
