James Gates Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Gates of Maumelle, Arkansas, who passed away on February 15, 2021 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William C. Gates and Mae S. Gates. He is survived by: his wife Judy Graves; his children, Encouragers, Janece Gates Hiegel of Little Rock and Julia Gates Bonar of Frisco, Texas; his grandchildren, Madeline, Claire, Lily Hiegel, Reed and Aubrey Bonar; his siblings, Fred Gates (Sharlyn) of Williamston, Michigan, Harriet Mason of Houston and Areta Heard (Charles) of Prescott, Arizona.; and his close friends, Cheri, Tim Lipscomb, Megan Lipscomb, Sheena McDaniel, Shanica Hartly and Jim.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
