He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Carter and Esther Cannon Carter. He is survived by: his wife Janice Gallien Carter; his children, Alicia Brucks (Rob) and Brett Carter (Neri); and his grandchildren, Justin Brucks, Lindsey Brucks and Abby Carter.
