She was predeceased by: her parents, Claren Martin and Lucy Martin; her sisters, Glenda Winningham (Jim) of Concord, AR and Rita Munsey (Ron); and her nephew Brad Munsey of Little Rock.

She is survived by: her husband Bob Poynter; her sons, Bruce Poynter (Elaine) of Shreveport, LA and Barry Poynter (Robin) of Maumelle, AR; her grandchildren, Bennett Poynter (Aimee), Seth Poynter (Hanna) and Bailey Poynter; her great grandchild Audrey Poynter; her sister-in-law Jamie Querry (Sam) of Heber Springs; and her nieces and nephews, Jimmy Winningham of Batesville, AR, Brian Munsey (Sandy) of Little Rock, AR, Blaine Munsey of Little Rock, AR, Bobby Barnett of Heber Springs, AR, Robin Seals of Conway, AR. and LeAnn Stevenson of Conway, AR..
