He was predeceased by: his sister Mary Laura Spicer; and his daughter Charla Jo Stone. He is survived by: his wife Jo Garot McDougall; his son Charles William McDougall (Duke); his son-in-law Chris Stone; his sister-in-law Nancy Garot Reynolds (Gus); and his grandchildren, Tanner Stone (Andrea), Chandler Stone, Lauren Stone Bracken (Brad), Shea Stone Rivera, Merritt McDougall and Collin McDougall (Katie).
