With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Buddy Whiteaker of Maumelle, Arkansas, born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, who passed away on December 3, 2022 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph William and Laura Pearl Whiteaker (Muse); and his son-in-law Mike Clark. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ada Whiteaker (Latta); his children, Greg Whiteaker (Maria), Deni Whiteaker Clark and Scott Whiteaker (Mary); his grandchildren, Preston Clark (Shelby) and Byrne; his children, Elise, Alyssa and Drew Whiteaker; his brothers, Jim and Rick Skillen; and his great grandchild Everett Alan Clark.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our House shelter organization, P.O. Box 34155, Little Rock, AR 72205.

“Sandy and I had the opportunity to visit with Buddy & Mary Ada in August 2021. Kindness and graciousness are synonymous with how Buddy Whiteacker will always be remembered. A very favorite memory of ours was the summer of 2003 when our family spent a number of days with the family in White Hall, AR. Our children and Buddy's grandchildren had a wonderful time, that they cherish to this day. We send our deepest sympathies to Mary Ada and the entire family. Jim & Sandy Kilgore, Avon Lake, OH”
