Starr Golston Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 24, 2024, at the age of 45, Starr Golston of Marvell, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her great-grandparents, John Albert, Sr. and Amanda Albert; her grandparents, Mae Whitaker of Florida, Noble Farr and Joe Willie Golston; and her close friend Tyron Wesley.
She is survived by: her father Larry Golston, Sr.; her children, J'Quan Herring, Ja'Starsha Davis, Jada, D'Niyah and A'Niyah Golston; her mother Cynthia Harris (Timmy); her sisters, LaTosha Coleman (Dewayne) of Marvell, AR, Kendra Farr of Marvell, AR, Cantangeneka Farr of Marvell, AR, Marquita Banks of Marvell, AR and Yolanda D. Golston of Des Moines, IA; and her close friends, Odell Fraizer and Megan Webb of Marvell, AR. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Restoration Outreach Center (5298 US 49, Lexa, AR 72355). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the St. Matthews Baptist Church (15537 US 49, Marvell, AR 72366). A burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 2:45 PM at the Coffee Creek Cemetery.
