She was predeceased by: her parents, Dexter Shouse and Vada Lee Fredrick Shouse; her husband Edgar Allon Pickett; her children, Deloris Gay Pickett and Richard Allon Pickett; and her sister Betty Cook.
She is survived by: her daughters, Pamela Kay Aultman (Duffy) of New Braunfels, Texas, Nita Ann Adkins of Chipley, Florida and Belinda Dawn Hyslip of Marvell, Arkansas; her grandchildren, Charity Hathaway, Audrie Nicole "Nickie" Drummond (Greg), Freddy Allon Anderson (Melissa), Richard Allon Pickett, Maranda Ann Gilchrist (Michael), Whittney Janice Hyslip and Terry Morgan Hyslip; and her sisters, Inez Carver and Mildred Skinner. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
