He was predeceased by: his parents, Eula V. Gines and John L. Griffin, Sr.; his grandparents, Isiah and Irene Banks; his siblings, Eugene Gines, Sr., Bruce Griffin, Ernestine Gines and Margaret Anderson; his great-niece Y'nis Gines-Bryant; and his great-nephew Deisun Gines-Raymond.
He is survived by: his nephews, Cornelius Gines, III, Cornell Gines, Robert Redmon, Cedric Wilson (CJ) and Eugene Gines, II; his siblings, Willie Ann Hughes of Dallas, Texas, Bettie Gines of DeWitt, Arkansas, Ulisa Brewster (Roger) of West Helena, Arkansas, Tracey Gipson (Stacey) of Mesquite, Texas, Cornelius Gines (Ellen) of Longview, Texas, Isiah Gines (Bertha) of Frisco, Texas, Londale Gines of Poplar Grove, Arkansas, Ulysses Gines of Mesquite, Texas and Johnny Griffin (Lisa) of Huntsville, Alabama; and his great-aunt Earnestine Williams of Jacksonville, Arkansas. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
