As Bonnie departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Bonnie may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Bonnie leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William A. Metts and Myrtice Littlejohn Metts. She is survived by: her husband Curtis Pettie; her children, Mike Pettie of Fort Worth, Texas and Susan Houston of Memphis, Tennessee; her grandson Phillip Houston (Carley) of Chattanooga, Tennessee; and her sisters, Bettye Sims of Harleyville and Paula Walsh of Summerville. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other dear family and friends.
