He was predeceased by: his siblings, Gale Battershell, Geraldine Treat and Bennie Rose; and his sons-in-law, Danny Mainord and Charlie Tyler.
He is survived by: his parents, Joe Battershell and Ellen Battershell; his spouse Glenda; his children, Natha Davis (Richie), Shelly Holliman (Randy), Denny Battershell (Kandus), Mary Battershell and Beth Tyler; and his grandchildren, Casey Jones (Dalby), Nathan Davis (Anna), Jessica Smiley, Roxanne Russell, Heather Oliver, Marie Cole (Clinton), William Rains, Daneisha Holliman (Sam), Brent Battershell, Chad Tyler (Melissa), Darin Battershell, Lacey Ledford and Brandy McCoy (Nathaniel). He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
