He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Smith and Maybelle Harrell Smith; and his siblings, Hazel Blair, Buck Smith, Verna Mae McDaniel, Modean Nimmick, Jeraldean Ragland, Don Smith and Douglas Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Ella Lee Kelley Smith; his children, Kelley Smith (Thecia) of Marshall, Lygia Smith (Mike Ratchford) of Marshall and Lydia James (Randy) of Little Rock; his grandchildren, Danielle Hinchey (Cody) of Marshall, Sarah Treat of Lowell, Clay James, Farrell Smith of Marshall, Summer Smith of Marshall, Isabella James of Little Rock, Amelia James and Little Rock; his great grandchildren, Jackson Hinchey, Ella Pults, Jennings Hinchey and Carson Hust; his sisters, Maxine Turano (Don) of Yuba City, CA and Demoia Knowles of Oklahoma City, OK; his sister-in-law Bernece Myatt of Harrison; and his brothers, Jackie Smith (Oma Dale) of Berryville and Woody Smith (Elaine) of Marshall. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
