As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Lavern may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Loyd Ragland and Edith Gasaway Ragland; her daughter Ruby Gail Sutterfield; and her brother Troy Ragland. She is survived by: her children, Kathy Smith (Ron) of Cabot, James Watson of Marshall, Teresa Coombe (Doug) of Rosebud and Joy Dawn Horn (Steve) of Valley Springs; and her brothers, Charles Ragland, Clifton Ragland, Clif Ragland and Roy Dale Ragland. She is also survived by fourteen grandkids.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Roller Coffman Funeral Home (923 US-65, Marshall, AR 72650). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
