He was predeceased by : his parents, Crayton Horton and Walsie Jackson Horton; his wife Muriel Horton; his brothers, Wilbur Horton and Leonard Horton; and his half-brother David Horton.

He is survived by : his children, Linda Bramlett (late Hershel) of Botkinburg, Johnny Horton (Loretta) of Marshall, Kevin Horton (Joy) of Marshall and Brady Horton of Marshall; his grandchildren, Mandy Ragland (Luke) of Marshall, Wilbur Bramlett of Botkinburg, Jason Horton (Nancy) of Russellville, Reva Harness (Brock) of Marshall, Whitney Bradley (Paul) of Marshall, Garrett Horton of Flippin, Jade Brenaman (Seth) of Marshall, Kasie Proffitt of Yellville, Caleb Horton of Marshall and Christian Horton of Texas; and his half-siblings, Dallas Horton, Darrell Horton and Donal Hudspeth.

A graveside service was held on Sunday, June 23rd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Grandview Cemetery (356 Jiffy Dr, Marshall, AR 72650).
