He is survived by: his wife Dixie Acuff; his children, John David Acuff (Carol), Wilma Sue Herring and Tracy Lynn Wesche (William); and his grandchildren, Jennifer Owen (Brent), Allison Wehrum (Gary), Julie Herring (Joseph), Meighan Pendergrass (Eric), Erica Picard (Sean) and Alan Monteverdi.
