He was predeceased by: his parents, Harrison Oliver and Dell Bohannon Oliver; his son Joshua Charles Oliver; and his siblings, Athlee Hobson, Judy Byrd, Margaret Cole, Ula Lawrence and Robert Oliver.
He is survived by: his children, Jamie Oliver (Katelyn) of Marshall and Matthew Oliver of Welcome Home; his grandchildren, Landon Oliver, Joshua Oliver, Kimberlynn Oliver and Rhett Lawson; and his brother H. D. Oliver (Kim) of Welcome Home. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
