He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Hatchett Daniel and Pearl Ferguson Daniel; his brothers, Dr. Sam V. Daniel and Dr. Charles D. Daniel; and his sisters-in-law, Wanda Mabry Daniel and Susie Roll Daniel.

He is survived by: his wife Alice N. Daniel; his daughters, Alice Lee Fitts (Pat) of Little Rock, Susan Housley (Larry) of Chimes, Sarah Oxner (Michael) of Searcy and Georgia Lou Wooten of Jonesboro; his grandchildren, Austin Fitts (Aubrey), Audrey Fitts, Henry Housley, James Housley, GleeAnna Housley, Maggie Housley, Mary Frances Oxner, Laura Grace Oxner, Paten Oxner, Ryder Wooten and Brody Wooten; his great grandchild Amelia Fitts; his siblings, Martha Grace "Jackie" Bianchi (Pete) of Conway and James W. Daniel of Maumelle; and his siblings-in-law, Sharon Daniel of Marshall, Rita Fisk (Billy) of St. Joe and Alton Owens (Joyce) of Grandview, MO.

Roller-Coffman Funeral Home is complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines for COVID-19 and limiting indoor funeral and visitation attendance to 50 people at one time. We are practicing social distancing and have limited seating.

“I will dearly miss Mr. Daniel. I loved going into the hardware store to find what I needed. It always surprised me when the conversation circle drew me into the conversation. I didn't grow up in Marshall, but that didn't matter to Mr. Daniel and the others.
